Palm wine is a traditional Cambodian alcoholic drink. Research shows that the fresh palm juice contains Vitamin B, C, D and is full of minerals, such as Ca, Fe, Mg, P, K, Zn. Drinking palm juice everyday will promote healthy living.

 

Unfortunately, the sugar palm tree is still a victim of illegal mass logging. Thus, in order to preserve these trees and to participate in the development of the economy of Cambodia, Confirel has approached the moder technology to transform local palm juice into tasty and hygienic finished products complying with European (Ec 2092/92) and American organic rules (NOP) as well as other international food standards.

 

The palm sap collected by Cambodian farmers in Kampong Speu province, Cambodia, and transfer on place by Confirel to be fermented into palm wine or spirit.

 

Confirel is able made palm wines and palm spirits as below:

 

- Jaya 40% - Jaya is a wine which is produced from palm sap. We can drink it with soda and ice or mix with palm traditional drink Pises which make that become a new taste and more delicious.

 

 

- Kiry - 35% - Kiry is a palm liquor made from the fresh palm sap. It tasted strong in alcoholic.

 

 

- Cocktail Mekong (17%) - Coktail mekong made from the fresh palm sap and lemon zest. Served chilled to get the best quality of wine.

 

 

- Kirel (8% / 11%), Ginger or Pineapple palm wine (8%) - slightly alcoholic, the palm wine is suitable for men and women. Served chilled and enjoy this quality wine made from the best palm sap rigorously selected. The ginger palm wine is espeically recommended for ladies.

 

 

 

 

- Pises - the "Teuk Tno Chou" is a traditional Khmer drink very popular but its quality is not stable. So the first time Confirel has developed a special "Teuk Tnot Chou Pises" can be drunk straight or mixed with other palm drink such as Jaya, Kiry, or Cocktail Mekong.
